Beacon Hill Cricket Club (incorporating Allambie) runs cricket programmes and participates in cricket competitions from ages 4 and up, for boys, girls and adults.  It is based at Beacon Hill and Allambie Heights on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, drawing players from all of Sydney but particularly from Allambie, Allambie Heights, Beacon Hill, Brookvale, Dee Why, Frenchs Forest, Manly Vale, Narraweena, and Oxford Falls.

Woolworths Cricket Blast is the official pathway for boys and girls starting out with cricket, and has two formats.
 

Blast Skills is typically for boys and girls aged around 4 to 7.  This is run after school for an hour on Mondays or Fridays.
 

Blast Competition is typically for boys and girls aged around 6 to 8.  Beacon Hill Cricket Club enters teams in this relaxed competition, which is held on Saturday mornings from around 8:30am to 9:45am.  Everyone gets an equal go batting, bowling and fielding.

​For those around 8 and older, Beacon Hill Cricket Club fields teams in the following competitions:

  • Juniors – Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association (Under 10 to Under 17, boys and girls, held on Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon)
  • Seniors – Manly Warringah Cricket Association (Men’s competition, generally ages 14 and up, held on Saturday afternoon for One Day and Two Day matches, and held on Sundays for the T20 competition)
  • Winter – Senior Competition run by the Sydney Morning Cricket Association (one day matches held on Saturdays and Sundays from April to August)
  • Twilight Women’s Cricket League for women 16+ on Wednesdays at 6pm

​The Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Association girls competitions (Sixers Girls Cricket League) are held on Saturdays
​from 10:30am to 12:45pm for U11, and 1pm to 3:30pm for U13 and U15.  
​
Boys are generally held at 8am or 10:30am on Saturday morning, with U12 at 1pm on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Twilight Women’s Cricket League is a new, social cricket competition for women aged 16+, held locally on Wednesdays at 6pm from October to December.  These are 60-90 minute matches with no helmets or pads needed.

Beacon Hill Cricket Club has a strong pathway from junior to senior cricket, and strong support from our seniors to our juniors.
